Injection

The process of inserting an asset into a game

Conversion

The process of taking asset characteristics and changing them from one form or medium into another. Conversions can be both visual and non-visual.

Translation

The process of taking asset characteristics and expressing them in terms of a different form or medium. Translations can be both visual and non-visual.

Entanglement

The process of taking an existing asset and creating a new separate asset that is forever tied to as well as fundamentally based on the original asset from a data perspective

Normalization

The process of taking an existing asset and scaling its characteristics to fit a range of parameters.
